Three Great Ways To Pretty Up Your Bathroom

To some people, the bathroom is nearly as sacred and as important as it would be their very own bedroom. That talks a lot about who you are. That means you're tidy, clean and orderly – for some people that is.

Decorating your bathrooms is just like you decorating any other part of the house – as beautiful and as creative as you can be. This makes perfect sense to a lot of people. After all, you spend a certain amount of time in the bathroom so why not make your stay there, however brief it may be, as pleasant as possible, right? So how do we accomplish this making our bathrooms more pleasant and tolerable (in a sense).

1. Install an exhaust fan.

Well, let's face it. What comes out of our rear ends isn't the most pleasant of smells no matter where or who we are. If your bathrooms don't have a lot of ventilation or there's no other way for the air to get out but through your room or anybody else's connected to it, you're going to need more than just a can of Lysol to make that smell go away.

Exhaust fans work wonders especially when they are installed in cramped spaces. It sucks up all the smell, smoke (if you are a smoker that is) and all the other unwanted smells and odors that may inhibit your bathroom after you or someone else has had at it for their own business.

With exhaust fans, you need not have to endure those undesirable smells a lot longer than you ought to. Give it a few minutes or even a few seconds to scoop everything up. Pair it with a can of Lysol and you've got yourself a pretty effective method of eliminating that unwanted smell. It won't make your bathroom look any prettier, but it'll definitely make your stay in there more bearable.

2. Put in some paintings or some wallpaper.

You can't just leave your bathroom filled with tiles and ceramic ware. It wouldn't make your bathroom a homely and cozy place at all. That homely and cozy feel is all the more important especially when it's in a small area. This way you wouldn't seem to be uncomfortable in such a small space. With wallpaper and paintings, your bathroom wouldn't look as plain and as boring as you originally thought it out to be. Sure the work might be a little tedious, but it will definitely pay off given that you do a good job at it.

3. Install a television set for your viewing pleasure.

To those people who are sports fans or who want to keep themselves hooked on to their sitcoms, series and news programs, installing a television set in your bathroom would be a really good investment. You would want to keep yourself busy while you're loitering around your bathroom, right? When you're relaxing on a tub or doing your business in the toilet, a television set that's adjustable will definitely be a great addition to your bathroom.
