This water alarm detects leaks before they cause costly water damage. It will detect as little as 1/32 in. of water and sound a loud 110 db alarm. It can be placed directly on the floor or mounted in a convenient place with the sensor extended for hard to reach areas. The alarm requires a 9 volt alkaline battery (sold separately). Since this water alarm uses no energy unless the alarm is sounding, the battery can last up to five years.
