The key-activated over-center locking action makes the anchor a rigid, weight-distributing truss in hollow walls and ceilings, providing maximum security in the smallest possible hole. These anchors can be used in drywall or plaster walls -- and work even if they hit a solid, like a stud. They accept any type (wood, sheet metal, or stainless steel) and size of screw from #6 through #14.
