Zorrods standard stair rods provide an understated metallic fashion accent while creating definition to each step. Each set includes one 3/8 in. Diameter durable electroplated steel tube, two electroplated end brackets with finials, and installation screws finished to match. All parts are lacquer coated to resist tarnishing. Each finial is attached to the outside surface of the brackets to allow the tubes to be easily cut to a shorter length with a metal cutting hacksaw during installation. Order a stair rod length that is at least 1.5 in. Longer than the width of your runner keeping in mind that rods can be cut to a shorter length during installation. One zorrods standard stair rod set is installed on each step where the tread meets the riser and an additional one is usually used on the bottom riser where it meets the floor.
